Tottenham Hotspur have seen off competition from Real Madrid and Inter Milan to sign Brazilian midfielder Paulinho from Corinthians. The transfer fee is rumoured to be in the range of
Tottenham's official twitter account released Paulinho's statement: "I am very happy and excited to have joined Spurs. It's a huge pleasure for my career to be at a club as big as Tottenham."
Paulinho was instrumental in Brazil's confederation cup win last month sparking interest from big clubs Real Madrid and Inter Milan. Tottenham had already been in dialogue with the midfielder at that point of time and sealed the deal this week.
Andre Villas Boas is also hoping to add a couple of strikers before the start of the new Premier League season.
